Is it worth getting a steam cleaner for bathrooms?

Never had one before, and am wondering if it's worth getting for tiles/ shower screens. Or are they just faffy and I'd be better off just using elbow grease?

It was OK for the toilet, getting in the nooks and crannies round the seat but apart from that, my steam cleaner was rubbish.

Nothing beats elbow grease (and hardcore chemicals).

I don't use mine anymore. Too much faff to get out and the results not as good as elbow grease unfortunately.

I don't use mine every time, but I think it's brilliant for the dirt that gets in tile grout. I usually give it all a scrub with some bleach and then blast the grout and it is much better than anything I can do without it! It's worth having one even without using it for the bathroom, it's such a time saver on floors!
