Looking to buy a new cordless vacuum - can any one recommend either of the above?

Having just bought a dyson v6 cordless, I cant recommend it enough! I love it! I have also heard good things about the gtech too, but I went for the dyson because it comes with the extra bits without having to buy two products.

I love my Dyson v6 animal!! It's so easy to use

Hate our animal. On hard floors it simply blows dirt and dust around.

Bosch cordless is fab.

Do you have a pet? The Gtech Airram was fab... until one very hairy golden retriever arrived.

LOVE my Dyson V6. Even my (adult) daughter describes it as a life-changing hoover! All hard floors here. We have a lab and it works brilliantly with his dog hair ( we don't have the animal version of the Dyson)

I know it’s not one you have mentioned but I have just bought a Vax Air Lift and much much prefer it to my old Dyson DC44 (the model before the V6 I think?)

We've just bought the Dyson Total Clean and love it. We've had bad experiences with Dysons in the past and I swore I would never buy another, but this one has transformed the housework into something vaguely enjoyable. There are various versions of the Dyson V6, so just make sure you get one with the fluffy head for hard floors.

I was put off the Gtech when we bought the multi hand held. It was completely rubbish and put me right off the brand, despite the glowing reviews online for the Air ram.

I was looking for reviews for a cordless vac: Is 20 mins charge enough time to do most of the house (2 floors +loft, combination of carpet plus hard floor) with either of these? Atm it takes about 45 mins < to do 80% with a heavy upright, but that's mostly stairs and poor suction. I'd love a lighter vacuum but only if its up to a large house, any feedback?

Just seen the advert for the Gtech. I'm tempted because it compacts the dust into those little parcels.

Bosch Athlet.

Sold the dyson cordless when I got it.

I have a Bosch Athlet, it's great. Prefer it to the Dyson.

Love my dyson cordless.
It's far more versatile - you can use the attachments in the car etc.

I'm swayed by the Bosch now :) lighter than my baby but still has more capacity and running time than the dyson, thanks for the tip :) anyone know if there's a massive difference in modals? They all seem roughly in the same £200-300 bracket, cant see much difference beyond washable filters though
