advice on cleaning a glass hob

I'm currently renting a flat which was new when I moved in. The hob is glass and from usage doesn't look good -I use 3 out of the 4 plates which probably shows it up more. Although the hob is clean for general use, I don't feel it's clean enough for when I leave (would like to give notice soon and don't fancy losing a lot of my deposit). Can anyone advise on how best to clean it (and possibly 'bring it up as new') -As its not mine I'm wary of trying things too abrasive.

You could try hobrite on it. Does I get hot (halogen) or warm (induction)?.

Pretty sure it's induction -will give what you've mentioned a go. Thank you Thanks
