Has anyone got a Neato robot hoover?

Hi, just unpacking mine (woohoo) and I'm failing at the first hurdle.

I can't get the film off the robot and charging base 'eye'. It's ridiculous - I don't want to start poking around with a knife in case I scratch them, but I honestly can't see it or find an edge to lift off.

I gave up and put Robbie (name for RoboVac) on the charge unit and then nothing came up on the settings panel (lang choice etc...). Is this because the film hasn't been removed or because I've got a duff unit?

Was it very noticeable when you removed film or am I being a bit dim?

Arrgggg - I've waiting a bloomin' age to get one. Had sad fantasies of sitting on couch watching trashy tv, whist Robbie did the manual labouring. Sad

Oops, sorry I forgot about this thread Blush

LittleBot (my name for Neato) is doing a fantastic job. No more blooming dog hairs.

Gave up trying to remove the film. Not even sure there's any on LB.

Yes StillYummy, you 'need' one. It'll change your life man Grin
