What are these things?

Hello all! Long time reader, first time talker here!

My DS has eczema so sheds a lot and I'm regularly vacuuming his room thoroughly. Recently in the vacuum I noticed some vile little creatures moving around, pictured below. They're about 1cm long, I've never noticed them in the room, only in the filter once they're sucked up. Does anyone know what these things are and where they might be living? And more importantly how to get rid of them? The floor is wooden if that makes any difference

They look like Dermestes beetle grubs.
