Ace bleach for carpet stain.

My cat was sick on my beige bedroom carpet. It was an orange bile colour plus I took a few days to clean it.

Ace bleach for laundry stains took every bit of it out. I use it in a spray bottle. I just sprayed carpet well about three times in all and covered with kitchen towel and trod in to absorb the stain.

My carpet is quite old so I was not too bothered if it didn't work but maybe test on an inconspicuous area before using.

Doesn't Ace say not to use it on wool? Might depend what your carpet is made of. I've read several threads where even carpet cleaning sprays have bleached patches of pale carpet.

Wowfudge the Ace bleach on sale now is wool safe, even has the woolmark approval.

As a side note, I got new carpet 6 months ago and it's actually chlorine bleach able! (not wool though)

Maybe I was just lucky! I def would not advise trying it on a real quality carpet but mine is old, second hand and I thought it could not look any worse than it did

Fair enough - I don't think it's something I'd risk. Sunlight is brilliant at bleaching those kinds of marks out of fabrics and fibres, just takes a bit of time.
