HELP! Biro on brand new leather handbag!!

I have just bought a blue / turquoise leather handbag on holiday and on the way home I have noticed a small biro mark on the front. I have no idea how it got there as I was being super careful (or at least I thought I was!!)

Can anyone offer any top tips for getting it out please. The leather has not been sprayed by me (may have been treated by woman who made them) as I was going to do this when I got home. There are a few places where I could trial something without it being seen.

My biggest concern is discolouring the leather and making it worse as iy is right on the front.

Use hairspray. I use it on our leather couch and it's fine.

Hair spray got pen off my cream leather chair. Kids wrote all over it.

Perfume sprayed on cotton wool will probably get it off but you need to try on a bit you won't see just in case it lifts the colour off the bag
