Hard water deposits / stains in shower

I live in an area with very hard water and find it very difficult to keep the shower tiles / joins etc clean. I have used bleach, Cillit Bang etc but still end up with yellowish / brownish stains! Any useful tips would be appreciated.

Cif seems to get rid of mine but they are annoying.

I just got rid of mine with citric acid and a scouring pad and a lot of rubbing.

I use a white wine vinegar/ lemon juice solution on mine and it does work. You half fill an old cleaning spray bottle with white wine vinegar, add a quarter of lemon juice and then fill with warm water. Spray all over your shower really well and then leave.

Do something else for 15 while the acid works on the alkalis (that doesn't look like it's spelt right- sorry!) then wash with scouring bit of a sponge. It may take a few attempts to get right of old thick stains but it is effective and cheap.

Had similar problem in our shower & found mould & mildew cleaner worked well. Think it was made by dettol.
