I've just found the most amazing space-saving outdoor washing line thingy

This could win an award for dullest thread of the year BUT I had to come on and rave. We haven't got room for a proper rotary airer and haven't got walls/fence panels to hang a decent washing line on. I've been dragging the indoor airer outside all the time, which is an arse - but I've just bought this for £15 in Argos, it's a foldable, portable outdoor rotary airer.

Small things in life obviously please me, but this is amazing. A full washing machine and it's barely filled half the airer! And when the washing is dry it's just going to fold into a little bag that can go in the cupboard.

I'm never excited about laundry. I am today Grin

Love the drying net for socks that's awesome!

I know, I just flung all the underwear on the net without any sorting, it was bliss for a laundry slattern. It feels really sturdy, and even has pegs for if you want to fix it more firmly into grass. I'm amazed at the price it's at at the moment. I could sell this on QVC, I'm that impressed with it!

is it compact enough to use indoors in winter. the clothes look like they will hang better then on an airer!

Is it sad to be excited about picking this up tomorrow?

I've also got the heated one from Lakeland.

Luffs a drying thing-a-ma-jig.

Does it pack away neatly? Could I take it camping?

It packs away into a carry case and would be great for taking camping IMO.

It measures 120cmX120cm and having a tiny house I have no space to use it inside but i have a tower airer for inside. If you have a bigger house you may be able to use it inside.

It's great but you are fooling yourself if you think you will ever be arsed to put it in it's bag each time! Grin

It does pack away but it's nearly 2 feet long - would work if you had a car? As for indoors you definitely could but its a good 3ft wide when up, you'd need a lot of space. It almost as big as a rotary airer when up.

And it's not sad - come on, I was excited enough to start a post about it!

I just got a similar one from dunelm (more upright but no net).

It literally takes a few seconds to fold it down - love it.

I'm looking at it, picked it up this morning.

It would have been worth the original price.
