Housekeeping

how much does your cleaner charge per hour?

my husband does all the housework in our house and does a brilliant job, I have often joked he should become a cleaner.

we are now thinking seriously about it and wondered how much cleaners charge so just wanted to get an idea.

so for all those who have cleaners it would be great to get feedback

Cleaners are hard to find around here, Peak District, they're all fully loaded with work. They charge between £10 and £12 per hour. Cleaning agency charges £15 per hour and is advertising for more staff due to an icrease in customers.

£10ph in East Midlands, brings own vacuum, mop & all cleaning products. Used to pay £7ph when first started having cleaner approx 5 yrs ago. We have a 2-hourly fortnightly session but I'd love weekly and/or a longer session (so I have to do less!)Grin
