So after working out all my outgoing last week and discovering I'm beyond my income with absolutely no way of cutting back, my kettle decides it doesn't want to work....no problem, puts the milk back in the fridge only to discover my fridge no longer wishes to work either :(
I want to cry!

oh no

i thought my fridge had died last week, but it was just the fuse.... phew (and faulty bolb caused the fuse to go)

worth checking

im pleased as already needed new tumble dryer, freezer, dishwasher and oven in the past 6months, and the washing machine was replaced 15m ago too..... so could do without any more appliances breaking for a while

Oh dear...as previous, check fuses first. Kettle/Id not bother with repair, manage with microwave or a pot in short term, then try to budget for a cheap value range one (Ive Tesco/Asda value range kettle, iron, steamer, crockpot and hoover, never had any problems).

Fridge-assume out of warranty? Can you find a local tradesman to repair? Check local ads/Freegle/Gumtree etc for replacement.

If you are anywhere near Bristol you can have my fridge, we're about to do the kitchen. Sorry OP, rotten luck.

It should be intermittent. I think that's a good sign. But start looking on Freecycle for a new one in case it really does go. You may find a kettle as well.
