Ive got some cream patent shoes that I wear a lot (I am not Kate Middleton btw!) and they have some black marks on them. Does anyone have any tips on how to remove these marks? TIA!

Traditionally, milk was used to clean patent leather, but not tried it myself.

transparent shoe polish, it also removes sticky stuffs from sticky tape from almost anything. I would guess milk could do it on patent because of the fat... Hmm [wondering]

I used to run a shoe shop, we used a bog standard pencil eraser!
