I'm after a milk frother that will give skimmed milk the froth you get at a coffee shop ideally that warms the milk as well. Budget up to £40 grin

Skimmed milk is quite hard to get a froth with so might take a few goes!

My husband was given this one for Xmas: Dualit 84145 Milk Frother, Black. After weeks of gathering dust he finally started to use it and it is fantastic. Heats the milk, froths the milk. Easy to clean. Pretty sure that the instructions actually suggest using skimmed milk as you get better froth that way..

Check out Kitchen Ace's Coffee Machine/Frother. It's durable and hygienic. I've been using there product for almost a year and I can say that the quality of there product is really amazing!

I read this as "Breast milk frothier for skimmed milk " and wondered wtf you were on about grin

If I'm trying to make frothy milk I heat it up in a pan and whisk it like mad, turns out alright sometimes, turns out crap other times.

Skimmed milk just doesn't taste as nice frothed up, but it can be done. Ikea do a hand held frother for £1 which works just fine smile

In fact, my coffee machine only cost £39 (lavazza Mia modo one) and it came with a free frother!
