Please can you help us to get dads to fill in the Home Front survey?

We really want dads' input to make sure their views aren't under-represented in the debate about how to make juggling work and caring for children better for both parents. So please can you get your partner to fill in the survey too. They'll also be entered into the prize draw (and so can take you off for a luxury weekend if they win). Thanks very much.

Done it. I hate things like this. There are too many variables in people's lives for the questions to really reflect how most of us actually live.

Dh has done it - not all his answers agree with mine though! grin

we've both completed it, although it seemed to be a hardship for dh - he said it took too long.

The ironman has done it.

DH completed it- took it all V seriously and insisted on pindrop silence.

Good job I can multitask, what with two dc's and MN i'd get nothing done grin

Some feedback from DH - some questions were a bit difficult to answer as I am on (paid) maternity leave at the mo.

Mr Russel has done his bit.

Wayne filled it in.....would be very interested to compare his answers with mine, particularly in terms of how much we share things at home!!! grin

I would have thought, frankly, that it is worth noting that not that many men have filled it in.

I just got DP to do it, but I had to do it for him. hmm

twoGsinBuggerOff Fri 08-Aug-08 19:47:52

Sorry, no this particular bit of the research doesn't apply to lone parents but we do have a lone parents thread - please do post you thoughts/comments there if you get a moment as we could do with some more input.
Many thanks.

....tried to fill this in.

However it is not, it would seem, for lone parents.

I wasn't sure if you could answer it and choose not to answer certain questions, but I've done it and it seems you can.

MrsWeasley Fri 08-Aug-08 09:56:52

Mine did it last night but needed to ask me the ages of our children hmm

I hope he was joking!!grin

GeraldineMumsnet (MNHQ) Fri 08-Aug-08 09:32:24

Thank you, that's great. No, dads don't have to sign up to MN, just needs the survey page.

WaynettaSlob Fri 08-Aug-08 09:19:24

I take it he doesn't have to sign up to MN or anything in order to do it? (I need MN to be a DH free zone grin)

Begrudgingly done by DH
