AT the end of each working day you write a comprehensive list

Things that are ongoing
Things that need initiating
Things that need chasing up
Calls that need making
Calls that need returning

etc etc.

so basically its like a mental file of what you have done, need to finish and need to start.

If you write it all down so that the following morning and for the rest of the week you can cross things off and add as you need to, it sort of contains it on the page.

However, if there are ongoing major strategy problems, its impossible not to keep mulling them over in an effort to find solutions etc.

But the list making has always helped me, its psychologically been the only way I can compartmentalise it.

ah that is difficult and I don't know if I'm the best person to answer that one.

I would try not to worry about it, you are THERE in part for your toddler and as long as you're working hard, that's all anyone will see. I think that's the only thing that matters with work.

If anyone has a problem with it, its their hang up, and if their hang up interferes with your work, its possibly discrimination, but that's a very strong, negative route.

I hope that's not the case.
