interesting- not surpising the british are getting the worse deal!
i was on the same pay as my dh but after my second child i have a p/t job that sucks and poor pay.
my dh would like to have the option to spend more time with kids but his career has progressed, wages gone up and as he is now the major breadwinner can not afford to do so.
women have to arrange childcare and take care when the kids are sick. it is difficult for women to do this but accepted - if my dh did this it would be frowned on!!
