Hi, we're in Bristol area and were told to expect £1000 per sq m for just the shell (although I think that might have included electrics). There will also be planning fees etc. Will probably be less if it's literally just bricks you want without plastering etc but I think it's often the foundations and brickwork that takes the time.

Builders / architects should be able to come out and give you a quote.

Hello can anyone tell me how much it might cost me in building fees only for a single storey extension, about four metres square.

I'd just like to know how much labour and materials might be to just dig out and create the foundations, and then put up the walls and roof. Nothing else - no doors, plastering, electrics, plumbing or anything over and above the actual build.
