Does your HE group do anything Christmassy?

I feel DD1 (5 years old) may have missed out a bit this year as we haven't been to a group carol service and she hasn't been in a nativity play or anything. We could have gone to the local church for a carol service if we hadn't been busy but I thought it would have been nice if our local HE group had arranged something. We are new to the group and therefore I don't want to jump in yet but perhaps by next Christmas I will be able to arrange something.

I just wondered what other HEers managed to get up to in a group Christmassy sort of way?

We had parties at both our groups.
One was more parent led, santa and grotto, magic show etc.

The other the children wrote and performed their own xmas production and played carols on piano and recorder.

I know the Kent HE group all got together at someones house, sounds like it was lots of fun.

I'm not Christian, don't believe in god, jesus, mary etc so xmas for me is about family time, making the house pretty with lights, generally brightening up the deary winter days and lots of nice food!

We had a party; several craft days making Christmas decorations, cards, mince pies and non alcoholic mulled drinks etc., and a panto performed before an audience by the kids.
