DD is 14 and would be in yr 9. I took her out of school last september due to ongoing bullying and other anxiety issues caused by her father (no longer in the home)

She knows what she wants to do for a career and what we need to get it. Where we are struggling is the initial organisation/structure/resources etc.

I have bought workbooks and found past exam papers etc to look at.

I am now looking at online schools and like the look of Inter High, however the fees would be an issue for me. I have also found Briteschool which looks similar and would allow the fees to be paid over 12 months, which I can do.
Does anyone here currently use online schools? Any advice or nudges in the right direction would be a massive help for us :)

I have no advice on online schooling but have you researched other (cheaper) options?
Sometimes see a bundle come up on Group on for Pearson online GCSE resources.
There are distance home learning options via post. Oxford Home Learning and little Arthur jump to mind but there will be lots more.
Have you researched local exam centres? Knowing what exam boards you can sit exams for is a first step. Of course this may be sorted by online schools, I don't know, it would be the first thing I would ask.
What does your local group offer? Increasing number are offering group tutorials.

You can pay Interhigh monthly too, DD is a student and we are all very happy with the school

DD also suffers with anxiety etc and has found it a very supportive school community both in lessons and social time

Thank you :) I have now spoken to inter high and been given the monthly option which is perfect for us and it was my preferred choice having seen such fab reviews - finally seeing DD look forward to something is well worth it Smile

Hopefully she will be as happy as our DD
I can honestly say the last year at Inter has been an amazing one and we are all so glad we made the decision. it was frightening at first but the change over the year in her confidence has been amazing

Can't wait for the PGL weekend in March when they all meet up
