We have a second reception room/playroom and I am about to decorate it. It is square with open stairs and a large deep bay window. We have an L shaped sofa in a muted lime green and I want to paint the back wall a deep dark teal. I have a middle eastern rug which is beautiful and huge and it's main colour(it's highly coloured) is a red.

So off white walls, white woodwork, dark teal feature wall with lime green sofa and reddish rug. White picture frames, on the feature wall above sofa. Lights are recessed and I have a lamp - floor standing cocoon type.

Will this work? The room has trofast - white, a white Welsh dresser and a white tv unit. Brown karndean floor.
