Our loft has been converted and we now have an ordinary pendant light fitting in the top stairwell which is at least 2 feet too high for me to reach. I now realise we should have specified wall lights. Does anyone know of any low hanging light fittings which might put it within reach? How on earth are we going to change lightbulbs without using a platform otherwise? There is nowhere to prop a ladder safely to access it because of the layout of the stairs.
