We are having our kitchen and bathroom renovated in a couple of weeks and I've sorted everything but can't decide on floor tiles, would like some honest opinions on these please.
Kitchen and bathroom are off of one another (Victorian terrace) and are both very small rooms, the kitchen is going to be the ikea hittarp in white and bathroom will have white metro tiles with grey grout around half of wall and was going to paint the rest of the walls a dark charcoal grey, both rooms have large windows so get enough light hth

Great for a victorian house, very nice tiles BUT I would find them too "busy" to live with personally but that's just me!

I think they are lovely but very safe.
I would go with something brighter.
Your scheme could do with some colour.

Lovely tiles, but they are 'busy'.

They remind me of an old butchers shop, from my childhood, where if you looked down and stared, the dark pattern rose up in an optical illusion! Great fun!

Mmmm I get what your saying with busy, my friend says they could be a bit headachy.
This is the sort of look I'm going for in the bathroom

I would only use a busy pattern like that in a downstairs toilet or similar. I think it is too much for a larger floor area.

I think they're gorgeous and have busy bathroom floor tiles myself (but kept everything else white)

However black and white is a nightmare combo to keep clean- the black shoes all the dust as soon as you've swept/ hoovered/ mopped and the white shows everything else!

Not for me at all, I find them far too busy.

I was wondering about them being easy to keep clean Kitty. I really don't know what to go for floor wise, because the bathroom is straight off the kitchen I thought having the same tiles would work better or do you think I should do different flooring in both rooms to seperate them more? Confused

Oooh! Where are they from? I started a thread about where to get nice tiles (well, Lino) this morn but no replies. Where are these from and are they expensive?

We used very different tiles in each but they don't lead one onto the other. They both hide a multitude! I love yours and if you are willing to clean religiously they will be lovely. I'm just a lazy slattern (as the photos prove Grin )

They're lovely in the pic but I think I'd find them just too cold looking in situ.

With the cold colour scheme, I'd probably go for something less severe.

Hmm I certainly don't clean religiously Kitty so maybe they won't work after all! Grin
Love your kitchen btw.
And eyelash they are from tons of tiles, these ones are £3 per tile
