Dh likes brassica but it's so dark in our house.

We've got "Old White" for our hall, stairs and landing.

Will your woodwork be white? What about your bannisters? If so, brassica could still work if there is enough white around it to lighten it.

The doors are finished in a melamine type material, we can't paint them but luckily the gloss they used matches but it's not white. Skight yellow tone to it.

I'd love white but white makes the gloss look yellow!.

Brassica is lovely but I think white would look terrible with it, and cheapen it. An off white is definitely better.

I have a dark hall, landing and stairs - so nervous about doing it but it gets so many compliments now.

Go for it!

Mine is purpley/browny tones with James White on the woodwork.

I've got a lot of F&B in the house, but all colour matched as I find the real thing like trying to paint with milk and finely ground £50 notes.

It looks like this.

I don't mind colour but bright colours.
