What style dining table to go for

Hi,

I am in the process of buying a new turnkey property and have jsut finished choosing my kitchen. We went for mussel painted cupboards with a laminate wooden worktop although it looks like solid wood and I would like to put wood effect floor tiles down too. It's not a very big room but we do have a bay window area suitable for a dining table, but I'm not sure what style to go for? I'm afraid to go wooden in case it's all too much! If you have any ideas it would be great to hear them!

Wood with a painted top or maybe a more industrial metal one?
