Could I ask opinions on some wallpaper samples please for a hall/stairs
Wall paper will only be on one wall and the rest of area will be painted white.
The carpet is a light sand/beige colour
Any opinions would be welcome

I love the bottom one. My study is white, grey and yellow and always seems so fresh and calming.

Bottom one!

Also, great username chester. Inspired by a Facebook selling page by any chance?

I'm liking second from top and the bottom one DH says they're "shite" and he likes third from top! This is the third lot of samples and we still can't find one we both like angry

RaeSkywalker, Yes!! Although the very same day I saw people talking about "draws" on here too 😮

shock indeed! I can never quite believe it when I see it!

Another vote for the bottom one - I love the combination of grey and yellow, very calming......

As for "draws"........grrrrrr! The other one that gets me (seen many times on fleabay), is "half" when what they actually mean is "hearth" hmm and only this evening I saw a knackered wooden ladder described as "warn" shock

The bottom one. SOrry but I agree with your DH about the middle too. Top one with white and grey will be too blah.

I recently redecorated my B&B & i used the Hilden Style guide for a bit of inspiration - it's got some really good design ideas (Mainly for hotels & B&B's) but it's definitely worth a read

Still no where near a decision 😡
Told DH to go get some samples he likes-that usually means he won't be arsed and just go with the one I want 😂

Bottom one for me!

I like the bottom one too. Just out of interest, where's it from...?

icklekid Tue 29-Mar-16 12:51:18

Bottom one and also interested in where it's from! First one if needing to compromise but definitely not middle 2!

They're all b&q think the bottom one was about £15-£18 a roll

Was never a fan of the yellow and gret look but hubby wanted our porch yellow and I painted some letterz grey and hung them and the two colours look lovely. Fresh yet calm abd modern. Defo go for the bottom one

Another vote for the bottom one!

TBH none of them. I don't think 2 or 3 are good options because stairways need to be light, and the darker colours will make a huge difference.

Unless the wall isn't straight I much prefer the plain painted look.
