Colour scheme with big black and grey corner sofa?

We need some colour! I want a grey garpet in as atm we have laminate but are looking to move soon so would rather have carpet in the new house. I'm just struggling to come up with a theme?

I like all the buddha stuff and morrocan lanterns etc, but then i love the crackled glass and crushed velvet too. any ideas? pinterest has not been my friend :(

Is it the more boho look that you like?? If so then I think plum and cherry shades would work well!

We have a grey sofa and curtains, with yellow cushions, photo frames etc for some colour (not a bright yellow).

We're moving next week and our new house has a living/dining room, so I'm buying copper bits for the dining room. In my head it will 'zone' the areas without clashing or looking weird together may have been watching too much of the great interior design challenge

A long winded way of saying I think copper would look nice. I've seen some beautiful copper morrocan lanterns.

Do you really think so? I have oak furniture tbh, do you think I could get away with a plum colour with copper? Or more of a dark deep red?

Could add a rail and do grey at the bottom and a lighter colour at the top? We had all grey walls and it was a little cold and dark.

I would tie things in with lots of cushions for the sofa :)
