Vertical Radiators

I have a couple of rooms in the house to update/decorate.
Thinking of changing the radiators to something a bit different.
My husband thinks he heard that they don't throw much heat out.

So do they heat up and do they look good in rooms other than bathrooms ?

I've got one in my dining room. Kicks a load of heat out and looks great.it's an anthracite one. You can calculate what heat output you need online and buy one that suits. Hth

They absolutely blast the heat out, and look great. Take up less space too.
The only drawback is that you can't air clothes on them! Tnough the bathroom ones that look like ladders are great for warm towels in the mornings.

Thank you for the quick replies.

I have a feeling that my OH is making the whole thing up because he doesn't want to change them .

We have them throughout downstairs for 9 years and about to put them in renovated bathrooms. As long at the output is calculated for the room size, you'll be fine. We love them, they're a nice feature and don't date.

We have 3 in our renovated kitchen / diner / lounge. They put out lots of heat (and look ace / don't take up much room .......). More expensive than the traditional route though.
