pls recommend an off-white to paint whole flat!

As the title says

I'm moving into a one bed rented flat and the landlord will be redecorating throughout. In an effort to prevent it being painted magnolia I'd like to offer an alternative (and perhaps contribute to the cost of the paint). So I doubt I can have F&B or any other super pricey paint

It's not the lightest of flats.

I really hate bright pure white and magnolia and yellow tones, but quite like grey tones.

Grateful for any suggestions! TIA

I used antique white to paint my living room, creamier than white but not as yellow as magnolia. I think it was leyland.

There are lots of Dulux light tones which are nice.

You are right to dislike pure white. We lived in a house that was pure white. Felt cold and very sort of depressing.

Magnolia is better than pure white if that is all you can get.

I've picked Dulux Jasmine White for my living room. Have used Timeless in the past which is also good.

I've just brought timeless by dulux as I don't like magnolia or brilliant white and wanted some thing plain but not cool.

I did an upstairs bedroom in an off white with black added made up by dulux and I can't tell - only that ita not brilliant white so went for cheaper off the peg this time.

We used Dulux Timeless throughout our house and I loved it. Could feel a bit cold to some though. We have moved and now have Natural Hessian everywhere.

I love it as a warm cream but not too yellow.

Something called gardenia. I can't remember who makes it but its nicer than magnolia. A Google search should turn it up

We used Jasmine White by dulux and it's beautiful, it doesn't feel cold at all and offsets all the pictures and furniture very well.

We're using Antique Cream by Crown which is lovely. I find it a simple cream without too many overtones of any colour really.

I haven't read the ingredients but it does stink for a bit after painting, it is cheap and cheerful i think.

I had dulux made up in RAL9002 greY White. Did whole house in it.
Timeless was too yellow tones for me.

I have Dulux White Chiffon, very happy with it. Not stark white but...white.

Thanks, I'll look them all up

I accidentally started two threads (stupid app) and someone on the other recommended Dulux White Mist which looks good as it's a grey tone.

Dulux Egyptian cotton, I'm gradually getting this everywhere, it's the softest beige and is lovely. Perfectly taupe is an alternative if you want something greyer...

Egyptian Cotton looks lovely but looks too dark for every wall of every room

I love Jasmine White too. It is a cream tone rather than grey.

Dulux Timeless is good, Jasmine White is brighter and Orchid White has more creamy tones.

Most rooms in our house are Dulux timeless, it helps when it comes to touching up marks.

Just about to recommend Sail White by Crown. Used in two houses it's the right balance, not too cold not too beige.

I asked the agent if I could pls not have magnolia and she said 'probably not'. I offered to pay for the paint either before or after I leave so she'll ask the landlord. The agent's argument was 'any other white will be too hard to match' once I leave and that 'magnolia will always be available.'

Very frustrating. I'm quite into making a house a home and interior design and to live with a colour I detest for potentially years makes me feel quite sad! None of my stuff with fit with it. Am I pathetic?!

Not pathetic at all, and if you're paying for the paint the landlord probably won't care what colour, unless you wanted it black
