Hello, just a quick survey to ask which colour kitchen units you prefer?
we are having white worktops and the handles and splashbacks will be different but just the unit colours?
Thank you x

I prefer the blue units - and i would match the wall and base units, i think mismatched ones look great in pictures but odd in real life! I do find white units a bit dull tbh. What colour splashbacks are you planning, white?

I like white... I think coloured ones date really quickly.

I like the second one. Is it bluey or greeny? The white is nice but I think with white worktops you might suffer from the equivalent of snow-blindness.

I like colour in my kitchen.

I hate decisions! if we had the all white units we would have a blue colour splashback subway tile, if we have all blue units then white subway tiles. and if we mix the unit colours I really don't know!
our original idea was all white but we have white shutters on the 2 sets of French doors so are concerned it will look too stark..
I'm rubbish at interior design! x

Both are beautiful but I love the white one. I think coloured kitchen date much quicker than white. With white you can change up colour with accessories when you get bored!

I prefer the blue on the lower cabinets and white on the wall ones. Seems brighter somehow.

Blue, all white would be too clinical for me

The white, blue will date quickly

All blue, but all white if you're selling in the next five years.

The white as the blue on that style of kitchen will date quite quickly.

I also think white for the same reasons as everyone else. I think the blue will date quite quickly whereas the white will look current and new for longer. The mixed units look odd to me. The white units will also allow you to change the 'added' colour whenever you want to which will keep it looking modern.

Personally I prefer the blue.

Also white worktops will show everything. Just saying.

All blue, but all white if you're selling in the next five years.

^^ I agree although I wonder if the trend for all white will date too so maybe just choose the ones you like best.

I have cream gloss top cabinets and dark wood base cabinets. I really like them and they are very practical as the wood hides everything but he white gloss makes the room light and bright.

I like the blue, we've had a similar colour kitchen for three years and I don't feel it's dated at all. I think it will be okay for another ten years or so.

The second one.
I don't get why it will date any more than the others. I'd have thought it would be the style of the kitchen rather than the colour.

Think of avocado bathroom suites, Chrissie!

Chrissie because it's a modern style of kitchen and a very particular shade of light blue. If it were a more traditional style of, say, painted kitchen, it wouldn't be such an issue imo. Plus you can re-paint a painted kitchen.

White. I like clinical looking kitchens. I also prefer very light colours because I have crap eyesight and need light reflecting units, and white is better then blue for that.

I really dislike clinical kitchens, so am not keen on glossy white but I don't like that shade of blue, it's a bit pale and cold for me. I think of the two I'd rather go for white and then have some warmth on the walls. I donèt think Iève ever seen a kitchen where the worktop was the same as the cupboards, usually there is a bit of a contrast. Also w hite worktops seem a bit of a surprising choice. It's all very much about personal taste though, you should pick what you like (unless you are planning on selling up relatively soon, in which case you should go neutral and not spend too much).

I prefer the blue, but think I'd get bored with it. So would go for the white. Would not mix the two colours I think (or not in a top / bottom arrangement).

We had a mix of yellow and blue kitchen cupboards, pretty much randomly distributed in one of our kitchens, but they were middle panels of wooden cupboards (and replaceable). We loved it but I suspect it's a bit of a marmite look.

Love the all blue but would go with all white as it is more flexible. Don't like the mixed - it looks as if there weren't enough blue units to finish the job. Could you introduce that shade of blue instead of/with the grey and white trim/accessories eg the chairs/table top etc?
