Moving soon and have some cash put by to buy new dinner set at long last. I love the t g green cornishware but it's rather expensive. Can anyone suggest something similar in a different make please. My usual Crockery is very old chunky habitat stuff

Tesco and Sainsbury's sometimes have something similar, but it's never as nice. Not as chunky, the blue is not quite right, the glaze isn't as shiney. Could you buy up a few bits of Cornishware at a time and bulk it out with plain white crockery in the mean time?

Go for the real thing. I've been using mine for 11 years and it's good as new. Copies will scratch and chip.

You can often stumble across pieces on eBay and in charity shops to grow your collection.

Good ideas. Thanks. Yes think I'll go for the real thing but was googling for other makes to compare such as Emma bridgewater or Jamie Oliver etc
