So far, I've painted the walls light blue and chosen a cow painting (see attached for both).

The room also has light cream carpet, white skirting, white framed double bed and a mirrored wardrobe.

Please tell me the style/colour bedding you'd go for.

Well personally I don't think a cow painting belongs in a bedroom! It's more of a kitchen subject if you ask me...or sitting/dining room at a push.

If you really love it though, I'd look at something like this

Or this

In other words classic things with a slightly country feel.

solid pink in any shade that co-ordinates with the nose.

The cow painting was only £8.99 so I'm happy to move to another room. The truth is, I saw her and just thought she was cute! But we have the whole house to redecorate so I could easily put it in the kitchen instead.

We live in a village completely surrounded by dairy farms (and our house is built on an old dairy farm) so a cow is appropriate in that sense.

So if the cow was removed, what picture would you go for, and what bedding.

Thank you for the habitat link, loving the geometric prints!!! But it's probably a price is rather spend on our bedroom rather than the guest.

Basically, I'm clueless at interior design and just want somebody to design the room for me!!!

I love the cow painting - made me smile. Put the painting where you want to.

Something in a country-ish style would look lovely.

Makes me smile too Fudge!
But have put her in our (badly in need of decorating) kitchen diner and I love it! Get to see her big nosey face every day now!

Who is the bedroom for?

It's the spare room, so will only have guests (of ages ranging 5 - 70!)

I'd put any colour of gingham bedding in the bedroom. Pink if the cow print was still there, but any colour without her. Tesco had some oversize red gingham bedding recently, although it was poly mix, don't know if that bothers you.

We have this painting knocking about... What do you think of it against the light blue wall and white bed frame?
