Alternatives to Ikea

Looking for bookcases but couldn't get the right size from Ikea.

What, similarly priced, alternatives are there?

And not just for bookcases actually. Wanted a tv stand but couldn't get one the right size either. Maybe I'm just a shopping failure? Advice please!

John Lewis's 'House' range is a similar price to Ikea.

Habitat can be ok too, some of it is quite cheap.
