Lack of space

I have a small hall but a large bathroom, just wondering if it would be ok to move coat stand and shoe baskets out of the hall and into the bathroom to free up space, opinions welcome

I would probably get some sort of cupboard for the bathroom so you can't tell it's coats and shoes

I don't think I would, steam and erm toilet water droplets will get on the clothes and shoes. Also risk of splashing bleach on them.

It wouldn't work imo, I'd rather have them squashed in the hall or even in the living room in a wicker basket with a lid if the hall was impossible.

I was a bit concerned about humidity, the bathroom does have a problem with black mould, I'll not do it. I'd rather have a cramped hall than ruined coats and shoes. The toilet is at the far end of the room, but even so I will look into better hallway storage, if only I could pinch a metre or so off the bathroom it would solve my problem, hmm wonder if I could do that instead

I like the basket in the living room idea, it's a huge room so that could be done. I live in a country cottage, storage was probably at the bottom of the list when they built this house 100 years ago!!
