We're getting new carpet and I have been agonising for months over this. It's time to ask mumsnet. We have moths - the moth expert says they are from our clothes, and the current carpet, which was here when we moved in, is probably synthetic.
We are clearing out our wardrobes, getting rid of woollens, and the moth guy is going to come in with the insecticide :(.
The carpet I want is 100% wool and has been moth treated. But despite the moth treatment and the insecticide, I still have a feeling that it would be stupid to tempt fate by getting a wool carpet. Don't like the idea of polyprop, but maybe I should just get over myself.
Any thoughts? TIA
