Hi! I ordered three made to measure Roman blinds for our bay window from a local curtain/blind/alterations company. I ordered in mid-November, and was told I would have my blinds ready and fitted before Christmas. They arrived to fit the blinds on Dec 12th, but the blinds had been made up in the wrong colour of fabric. The fabric design was right, but the colour was totally wrong. It was their mistake - there was no way on earth I would have ordered the colour I ended up with, as it didn't go with anything else in the room. Anyway. They let me keep the wrong blinds as a temporary measure, and said they would have to re-order the right fabric, and make some more blinds. I was told it wouldn't be before Christmas because they were too busy (which is understandable). The correct blinds finally arrived on 9th Feb. They didn't get in touch with me in the intervening period - I had to do the chasing towards the end of January. Would I be within my rights to refuse to pay full price, seeing as I've had to wait an extra 8 weeks?! I'd feel like a mug, handing over a cheque for the full amount owing.
Thanks
