Floor length looks good but makes the house cold if there is a radiator. They need to be a few inches longer than the top of the radiator so they tuck in. Saves £££ on heating bills, can look funny if they are very puffy curtains though.

If there's a radiator then I'd have the curtains end either at the window sill or between the sill and radiator. Tucking curtains behind the top of the radiator would not look right and the curtains wouldn't hang properly surely?
