Help me find this curtain rail - only seen in Switzerland!!

When staying in Switzerland the curtains in the chalet ran on a rather clever rail. it was set into a piece of wood, a bit like a pelmet, so from the front you saw the wood. Standing directly underneath it you saw the recessed tracks, two so the voiles were on their own track. It just seemed particularly clever- very simple, no unsightly tracks, no fussy pemet.

I know I'm describing it poorly but does any one have any ideas? Think it was ceiling mounted too.

Like this?
They were in our house when we moved in but are just as you described. You need a handyman or carpenter, curtain rail mounted onto pelmet, pelmet mounted onto wall.

Thank you for replying! No, it's more like the rail is factory set in wood which then overhangs the window. I wish I'd taken a photo. Might have to be the crazy lady that emails the chalet owners!

Have a look at the metropole metro flat from silent gliss. Not quite what you are describing but getting close.

I know what you mean, they are common in Norway too.
