Just painted kitchen walls lime green. Made such a difference.

Our kitchen is small and was so bland before. Walls were a creamy beige colour. The tiles are black so I thought I'd contrast with lime green and it's lovely Smile I bought some lime green accessories too and a nice storage basket with lime green in it plus other shades. The kettle and toaster are black. Microwave is ancient so I'll replace with a black one when I can.

I do like colour in the house although I know that grey seems to be in fashion. Dp's just fitted a new bathroom and put grey flooring down which looks good. I chose that practical. The tiling's white so can paint the walls any colour when I get round to it. Not lime green though Wink

Sounds lovely.

What like green paint did you use? We are trying to find a lime green but lots of them are too yellow.

We've spent loads on those little sample pots!

We used a colour match machine. You can get paint to match any colour in B&Q and other DIY stores. They scan say a tile, item etc.. and can mix a colour to match.

Ours isn't yellow it's true green. The blind's up and looks lush. I'll take a pic and post it when I get chance.

It's valspar paint, can match to any colour but do have lots of swatches in store to chose from

Sounds great. I always paint my kitchens orange. I'm not a fan of neutral colours in the kitchen Grin

I'm with you there Jules. Mind you I'm not a fan of neutral colours in the house. As in without a splash of colour.
