Should my roller blind be lined on the back???

Yikes just ordered a roller blind for a very tiny bathroom window it's more for colour then for us to use...the guy that came said it wont be lined.

It's a fairly darkish plum colour but now im worried it wont look right

They are normally backed with a stiffening fabric anyway, so that they 'roll' properly and don't crumple up/go wonky. He probably meant it wouldn't be lined like a roman blind would be, with a traditional lining fabric (which you wouldn't want anyway as it would ruin the sleek finish).

it's fairly cheap so if its not right I can always use it in another room...jus that I had rollers in my kitchen from an interior design company they were quite pricey and they lined them
