Alternative to net curtains in front window

I need more privacy at my front window, it's quite large but someone keeps driving past my house and I don't want them being able to see in, and I can't force them to stop driving past, my window is right in the road. I'm only in a rented house so I don't want to spend too much at all - thanks

You could edge a square (or shape that fits to the area you want covered) of muslin and use sticky Velcro squares to fix to the frame? If you don't push too hard they would hopefully come off without taking paintwork (assuming painted not plastic).

We had this issue and used window film (it can be removed when you move). You can get all sorts of patterns and designs and it can look really funky. www.brume.co.uk do lots of designs, but you can get cheaper version if you google for it.

Voile nicer than net. Cheap too.

Voile blinds nice but probably not worth it if you only rent and don't want to pay a lot.

Plants. Tall wispy ones, either on the windowsill or in pots outside (or both) Breaks up the "view" enough to stop people seeing in but you can still see out and have some light and much nicer than nets
