Alcro paint is it the best for exterior repaint of wood front door.

Hi all. Im a newbie Mumsnatterer and thought Id join as Ive got some great tips of from this site before. Anyway, I (or should I say him), is going to repaint the front door. It always takes me ages to decide on a product but I found Alcro paint recommended on the web. Its Swedish and very expensive. Anyone know if its worth the outlay? Ive always done Farrow and Ball before but gone off it and looking for something better and more durable.
