That link is a whole page of pictures, but all much the same colour. I would go for lime green. In fact, I have! Grin It looks fab! They are all earthy colours, so anything would go, imho!

Noooo!! (embarrassed smilie!)

How do I link to an actual photo?!!

Basically:
walls - white tiles bottom half and beige paint top half
tiles - small black rectangular mosaic on bath panel and behind sink
floor tbc and the subject of another active thread :)

Lime sounds nice Maureen!

Orange (burnt orange) could work too?

Sounds fab! I think go for a big bold statement with the towel colour. If you stick with the same colours as the furniture and walls, it'll look a bit dull.

Not that your colours are dull, you understand! Mine is white suite, with cream tiles and mosaic browns floor and boarder! Earthy. As I said! Grin

Perfect! I argued that it was a bit too in your face, when DH suggested lime green. Then I was sitting in a textiles classroom at work and on the desk was a row of threads. Browns and greys and right in the middle was lime green! Sold me. My bathroom looks fab. I've got a selection of various sized green candles too, which really finish it off.

Beauty is, when one day I'm fed up of green, I'll just change the colour to whatever I want, because they'll all go!

Enjoy your new sanctuary. Smile

Ah that sounds fab Maureen! I thought you must be artistic :)

Now, slight problem. Paint is fresh
on walls and despite mummy
being called Almond White and described as a beige, it has definite, albeit slight, pinky / peach tones, at least to my eyes. Will try
green and orange anyway but may need to switch to something else. Was thinking aubergine would keep things dramatic and contrasting....?

Oh I just realised the green was your DH's idea! Well done that man!!

Aubergine sounds great. That'll work.

DH and I seem to work amazingly well when it comes to decorating! HE does the building to my requirements and then I trust his judgement on the colours. Our kitchen has a orange wall! That one took me a while to trust, but it looks great.
