Fire surround spiny surgestions

Have managed to win a lovely fire surround off eBay

It's came painted in undercoat so it's ready to be painted only I don't know what colour to go with so any suggestions appreciated.

We have a cream hearth the fire is a large electric stove in a dark green the wall around it is cream.

The rest of the room is cream with a cream and gold wallpaper on the wall opposite the fire, sofas and carpet brown.
