We've moved to a new home with a log burner and open fire. Hopefully the chimneys will be fixed and swept by the end of the month so I am after log baskets, tools and safety guards for them. Found lots online but not really sure of the quality and whether more is better, so any recomndations please? Particularly for the guards where we need protection from a toddler but ideally also something a bit stylish? It is a Victorian house.

Any suggestions much appreciated. Thanks very much.

Have a look at stovax

We have used their stuff for huge pub - like open fires and log burners for protection for dogs and toddlers.

Excellent quality. Very sturdy. Am just about to purchase from them again myself.
