Wood Flooring or Karndean/Amtico in living room/dining room

I am fed up
Of spending ££ getting carpets cleaned in living room and dining room

We have huge rugs that we could put down over Amtico or Wood flooring

Recommendations please for heavy use areas

Well, I'm sure any of them would be lovely, but I can recommend Karndean which I have through the kitchen, dining room and utility. It's been down for over a year and still looks fresh as a daisy. We had it laid at an angle with a straight border and I love it. Like this hope link works! picture 2
