I love this sofa but it's a US website and I can't find anything like it in the UK. They are all a bit chintsy and over cushioned here. Anyone got any ideas?

Is this the same as a settle sofa (think that's the term for high backs).

No because it has wooden finials and rope ties. Giving up and buying something from John Lewis. Ironically we live in walking distance of Knole house, where Knole settee's originated but all the nice ones seem to be in the US!

You can get them

I know you can get them, but the UK ones have loose cushions and aren't as fixed formal looking as I want. They're a bit chintzy. I want one like the link in my 1st post.

Old fashioned built to order do them, Like the stool co or darlings in chelsea you can specify pillow back or full upholster. I had a beautiful grey one which I sold when I moved and the buyers now live near me and every time I bump into them they say we still have your sofa and I laugh but inside am seething lol. I have never seen another as nice and like you say not chintzy! And I sold it for £150
