I will, I read it, didn't like it but will still watch it. I love most things Tudor and history in general.

Ooh, yes!

I'm hoping it's good - I read she's been involved in it quite a bit, but it's always odd seeing how things translate across.

Definitely going to watch it.

Read both books - a bit meh about them tbh.

But it will certainly be worth a watch.

I think it is (and, easy to pick up in charity shops, which is a bonus).

But it's quite marmite - she has a particular style of writing, which some people really dislike.

Me! Loved the books. Very hard to get into, but I'm glad that someone on here said to persevere until page 50 and from then on, it gets easier to read. Very satisfying to read and I am looking forward to the TV series. HM puts a totally new slant on the whole of that period.

I LOVEd the books, loved them

I also loved the Tudors on telly (for sheer hilarity)

And I love Damien Lewis

How can this go wrong?

I can't wait - read both books several times and think Hilary Mantel is a total genius. Very excited also love Damian Lewis.

It's in all the papers this weekend. The beard suits Damian Lewis
