Everyone's favourite mode of transport is 150 years old and still looking good!

Was anyone lucky enough to.be in farringdon for the locomotive run?

I'm going to be one of the steam runs next weekend! I'm pathetically excited.

I'm very jealous!

Might just have to buy some limited edition ceramics instead Grin

Can't afford to go on the runs, but have ridden in the carriages they are using as they've borrowed them from the Bluebell Railway which we go on at least once a monthGrin

Next year (2014) the Bluebell are borrowing the loco as well as a thank you for the loan of the carriages.

If you're going to take DD wait til the summer when the extension into East Grinstead is completed & you'll get to go over the fabulous Imberhorne Viaduct.
