SLC deferral

Hello

I am on the longest call holding ever with SLC. They have refused my deferment request.

My gross income per month is £1,650. Other payments are Child Benefit, tax credits (I work full time) and maintenance of £300 pcm. The SLC have told me all the above are counted as income and therefore push me over the limit. I have been declaring these sums for years and always granted a deferment. SLC say they must've just made a mistake
