Has anyone managed to do a distance learning Masters with a new baby?

Had planned to start an MSc this year part-time.

Just found out I am expecting number 3.

My other two children are 4 and 16 months and my eldest starts school in September.

The course can be done distance learning. Am I mad to consider still doing it?

It is not impossible (I did a PhD in similar circumstances) but it is hard.

I found the best way through was to always have work with me, and to fit it in whenever I could (eg 5 mins reading in the car waiting for school pick-up) and to work most evenings when the older kids were sleeping.

If breastfeeding, get a good sling that is comfortable and allows you to type!
